Services, planning & process

What property owners want to know.

What residential remodeling services does Vantes Group provide?

Vantes focuses on planned kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, whole-home and multi-room renovations, and condo or second-home remodeling in Summit County.

Is Vantes Group a new company?

Yes. The Vantes Group name and company are new, but owner Will Cervantes did not begin managing remodels with the new name. Before Vantes, he led and managed residential remodeling projects through EPX Construction. Prior EPX work and new Vantes work are identified separately so the history is clear.

Why is remodeling so expensive in Summit County?

Summit County remodels operate inside a high-cost mountain environment. Limited local labor and housing, travel and deliveries, permit and HOA requirements, restricted work windows, property protection, material lead times, weather, access, and schedule interruptions can all add labor, coordination, and risk beyond the visible installation work.

Which Summit County communities do you serve?

Vantes reviews projects in Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Blue River, Summit Cove, and nearby Summit County communities. Availability depends on scope, schedule, and project requirements.

Can you manage a project for an out-of-state owner?

Yes, when the property, scope, schedule, and communication plan are a fit. Remote-owner projects can use scheduled progress updates, photos, documented decisions, selection deadlines, and written approvals so the owner remains informed without daily site visits.

Does Vantes handle permits and HOA coordination?

Vantes reviews permit jurisdiction, HOA requirements, building access, and related documentation for each property. The specific responsibilities are then defined in the project scope.

How does Vantes work with subcontractors?

When Vantes contracts the work, it serves as the client’s management point for the agreed scope. We define that scope, select trade partners appropriate for the work, and coordinate the schedule and communication.

What happens after I submit a project inquiry?

Vantes reviews the project type, location, timing, and available information. If the opportunity appears aligned with current services and capacity, we contact you to discuss the next step and what is needed for a useful scope review.

Does Vantes provide free estimates?

Submitting the initial project inquiry is free. An onsite consultation, design work, plan review, or detailed estimate may require a fee, which Vantes explains before that work begins.

How much does a Summit County remodel cost?

There is no single reliable price per square foot. Existing conditions, property access, layout changes, finish level, permits, HOA rules, material lead times, and the number of coordinated trades all affect project-specific pricing.

How long will my remodel take?

A responsible schedule follows scope definition, approvals, selections, material availability, trade capacity, and site-logistics review. Vantes does not publish a universal duration because projects and properties vary significantly.

Can I live in the property during construction?

Sometimes. The answer depends on the rooms affected, utility shutdowns, dust and noise, safe access, building rules, family needs, and the planned construction sequence.

Do you provide design services?

Vantes can coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, cabinet resources, and trade partners as the project requires. The exact design responsibility is defined before estimating and construction.

Do you guarantee permits or HOA approval?

No contractor can responsibly guarantee approval. Vantes can help identify requirements and coordinate agreed documentation, while the authority or HOA makes the approval decision.

Are the website images completed Vantes projects?

No. The mountain exterior, kitchen, and commercial images are representative brand imagery and are not presented as completed Vantes projects. Vantes project photography and case studies will be published only when the work can be accurately documented.

What types of homes do you remodel?

We review projects in single-family homes, condos, and townhomes. The property type, building rules, access, and scope are confirmed before we commit.

Can you manage a remodel if I live outside Colorado?

Yes. Second-home and remote-owner projects can be managed with scheduled updates, documented decisions, photos, and clear approval points.

Do you coordinate permits and HOA requirements?

We identify the likely requirements and coordinate the project documentation within our agreed scope. The exact permit authority and HOA process are verified for each address.

Does Vantes use subcontractors?

Yes. Vantes operates as the accountable contractor and coordinates specialized trade partners. The client receives one defined scope and one management point rather than having to manage every trade independently.

How are project changes handled?

Changes should be written, priced, and approved before the changed work begins. This keeps scope, schedule, and cost decisions visible.

Can Vantes handle the entire kitchen remodel?

Yes, when the project is a fit. We can coordinate demolition, cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, drywall, paint, and licensed plumbing and electrical partners within one defined scope.

Do I need finished cabinet and appliance selections before the estimate?

Not always, but dimensions, quality level, and realistic allowances are needed for useful pricing. Final selections must be made early enough to protect the schedule.

Can we change the kitchen layout?

Potentially. Layout changes are reviewed for structure, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, clearances, permits, and budget before they are included.

Can you remodel a condo kitchen?

Yes. Condo work may require HOA approval, building protection, delivery scheduling, elevator or stair planning, noise-hour compliance, and additional insurance documentation.

Do you remodel primary and guest bathrooms?

Yes. We review primary suites, guest baths, powder rooms, and condo bathrooms based on the full scope and trade requirements.

Can you replace a tub with a walk-in shower?

Often, yes. The drain, valve, waterproofing, glass, clearances, structure, and permit requirements must be reviewed first.

What happens if water damage is found during demolition?

We document the condition, explain the effect on scope and schedule, and provide a written change before additional corrective work proceeds.

Who handles plumbing and electrical work?

Vantes coordinates appropriately qualified trade partners as required by the project and local rules.

Can you remodel my Summit County property while I live elsewhere?

Yes. Remote-owner projects can use planned update intervals, photo documentation, selection deadlines, and written approvals.

Do you work in occupied condos and townhomes?

Potentially. We evaluate protection, access, noise limits, utility interruptions, building rules, and whether the proposed scope is practical while occupied.

Will you communicate with the HOA or property manager?

Coordination can be included in the project scope. Owner-provided governing documents and approvals are reviewed early so building requirements are not discovered after scheduling.

Can the remodel be completed between rental bookings?

The desired window can be evaluated, but the schedule depends on scope definition, approvals, selections, material lead times, trade availability, and existing conditions.

Which commercial trades does Vantes quote?

The current focus is drywall, painting, flooring, and tile. Each package is reviewed for scope completeness, schedule, location, and current crew capacity.

Can Vantes quote a large drywall package?

Yes, Vantes will review larger drywall opportunities. Plans, specifications, quantities, schedule, access, supervision, and insurance requirements are needed before a responsible commitment can be made.

Do you provide labor-only and labor-and-material bids?

Both structures can be considered when the bid documents clearly assign materials, equipment, delivery, waste, protection, and related responsibilities.

Where do you pursue commercial work?

Summit County and other Colorado opportunities are evaluated based on project size, schedule, scope, and field capacity.
